Invisalign is one of many orthodontic treatments out on the market today. It’s remarkable enough that the system uses plastic aligners rather than wires and brackets to move teeth. But is that a good thing? What are the benefits of Invisalign over those other traditional methods?
Let’s take a look at the top 3 benefits of Invisalign!
Discrete Appearance
The first and most obvious benefit of Invisalign is that it’s very difficult to see. Many users report that close friends and family don’t even notice unless they tell them!
By using clear plastic to move the teeth, people can get all of the benefits of orthodontic treatments without it being incredibly obvious. Busy professionals and those with public-facing jobs — such as actors, models, and presenters — can get dental work done without interfering with the look of their teeth.
No Special Diet or Cleaning
Invisalign aligners can be taken out to eat and clean your teeth — in fact, they must be taken out to eat and clean!
What this means for patients is that you don’t need to worry about a special diet of soft foods, or struggle with precise cleaning requirements for getting food off of wires and brackets. Just take the aligners out, eat whatever you want, brush your teeth as normal and put the aligners back in. It’s that easy.
Significantly Less Discomfort
It takes a little while to get used to having something placed over your teeth. But Invisalign is much less uncomfortable, and much faster to get used to, than traditional wire and bracket systems. There are no pieces of ceramic or metal to catch on the inside of your lips and gums and cut yourself.
If you’re looking for orthodontic treatment, but don’t want the hassle of traditional braces, consider Invisalign. At BrightSmile Avenue, we’re proud to provide Invisalign to our patients to help them achieve the bright, wonderful smile they’ve always dreamed of.

Hi! I had my upper braces taken off last year and I have worn my retainers nightly after until they were damaged months ago, so I stopped using them. I still have my lower braces on and haven’t had them adjusted in a year.
I just want to have another set of retainers (i don’t want braces anymore) for my upper teeth as I have noticed a tiny gap in between my two front teeth. I also want to remove my lower braces and use retainers instead.
Until I saw that you offer Invisalign. I’m very much interested and wanted to know how much you offer them for my case. Do you offer installment payment?
Hope you can help me and suggest possible next steps.
Thank you so much!
Hi Donnabelle. Were you able to fix your problem with the gap from your 2 front teeth? Kindly email us if you are still interested with invisalign. Thanks!
